Why the fish box?
HOW IT STARTED
It started with a simple wish: more fresh fish on the table.
The supermarket did not meet our needs and the fish shop did not fit into our busy schedule of work and family activities.
The solution came via Pieter Visman. What started as friendly app traffic about seasonal fish, grew into a recurring 'fish box' that was personally delivered by Pieter.
This personal service did not go unnoticed. Friends soon showed interest and it became
clear: there was a broad need for accessible, fresh and sustainably caught fish.
This is how a private solution grew into a bigger idea. The fish box became a mission to let more people enjoy high-quality, seasonal fish, directly from fisherman to consumer.
